Indications: Rxhomeo® Conium Maculatum is a chief remedy for vertigo. Vertigo is more by turning head side wise or looking around or turning in bed. Vertigo of old people. Feels as if bed were floating. Vertigo after intoxication. Vertigo on rising sometimes causes a fall especially in the morning. It is also useful for the debility or weakness of old people. No inclination for business or study. Takes no interest in anything. Memory is weak, unable to sustain any mental effort. Excitement of any kind causes mental depression. Sweats day and night as soon as one sleeps or even when closing the eyes.
Conium Maculatum is also useful in headache from blow or fall, sexual excess, excitement or overwork, suppressed menses. Sensation as if there is much foreign substance in the head with numbness of the brain. Tearing headache compels the patient to lie down.
Conium Maculatum is also indicated in eyes troubles caused by injury or blow, or using artificial light. There is aversion to light without inflammation. Intense photophobia with weakness and dazzling of eyes with giddiness and debility. Pain is worse at night and by least ray of light, relieved in a dark room and by pressure.
Conium Maculatum also helps in menstrual troubles especially in old maids at climacteric age. Menses suppressed or stopped by taking cold or putting hands in cold water. Red pimples all over the body which cease with the flow. Breasts are sore, hard and painful before and during menses. Leucorrhoea 10 days after menses.
Conium Maculatum is useful in urinary troubles when there is great difficulty in voiding urine. Flow intermits, stops and then flows again. Flow stops on straining from enlarged prostrate. Conium Maculatum is also indicated in glandular affections. The glands are stony hard and enlarged especially mammae and testicles. It is useful for malignant affections of glands.
