Indications: Rxhomeo® Sabadilla is a chief remedy for coryza and hay fever. It is also called sneezing remedy as indicated in hay fever, influenza etc. There is spasmodic paroxysmal sneezing with copious watery discharge from nose. Face is hot and eyelids red and burning with watering. There is severe pain in frontal region of head with coryza. Influenza with violent spasmodic sneezing and watering of eyes on going in open air.
Sabadilla also helps in headache from too much thinking, too close application or attention, or from worms. There is boring, burning and pressing pain in head with heaviness. Headache with vertigo accompanied by blackness before eyes and sensation of fainting.
Sabadilla is also indicated in tonsillitis and diphtheria. Starts on left side then extending to the right side. There is a sensation of skin hanging loosely in the throat, must swallow over it. Sensation of lump in the throat with constant need to swallow. Dryness of fauces and throat. Patient can swallow warm food more easily, empty swallowing is painful. Swallowing is difficult and worse from cold air, cold food and drink and is better from warm food and drink.
